Are you interested in working in a vocational technical high school and have a background working as a Plumber? Cape Cod Tech is hiring a full-time teacher for its Plumbing program.  


Cape Cod Tech, located in Harwich MA, offers robust, hands-on technical education to high school students living in a twelve-town district. Students obtain industry certifications and credentials as well as their high school diploma to prepare for careers and college. A new school is anticipated to open in 2020 with a state of the art learning environment. Come join our faculty and help grow the next generation of industry professionals!



Citizenship, residency or work visa in US
Must pass CORI background check &  MA fingerprinting check
Must have worked full time (30 - 40 hours per week) in employment directly related to Plumbing five out of the last seven years
Possess current MA Journeyman Plumber license &  current MA Master Plumber License
Take and pass MA Chapter 74 written and practical exams in Plumbing &  MA Vocational Literacy test within initial years of hire
Within five years of employment at Cape Cod Tech, successful candidate completes 21 - 39 college credits in technical education teacher training and Math, English and Science classes.  Candidate with college degree may have academic classes waived by DESE.
Minimum of High School/Trade School education
